Oleh karena itulah darah pada daging ayam harus dibersihkan. Orang-orang biasanya akan memarinasi daging ayam menggunakan jeruk nipis untuk membersihkan darah tersebut.
Padahal, ada cara alternatif yang jauh lebih mudah untuk dilakukan. Metode pembersihan ini dijelaskan oleh kanal YouTube Mishy's Kitchen, yang ditulis pada Rabu (24/04/2024) berikut.
Dengan asumsi ada 1 kg ayam yang hendak dibersihkan darahnya, maka air yang digunakan untuk merendam adalah empat gelas. Tuang empat gelas air tersebut dalam mangkuk besar, lalu masukkan potongan-potongan daging ayam ke dalam rendaman tersebut.
Masukkan sekitar tiga sendok makan cuka dan satu setengah sendok makan garam ke dalam rendaman, lalu aduk sampai tercampur rata.
Garam dan cuka adalah bahan yang efektif untuk merangsang darah pada daging ayam agar bisa keluar. Biarkan rendaman ini selama 10-15 menit agar garam dan cuka bisa bereaksi.
Setelah dibiarkan selama 10-15 menit, angkat semua potongan daging ayam untuk dipindahkan ke mangkuk baru. Bilas daging ayam tersebut dengan air mengalir sebanyak tiga sampai empat kali.
Sesudah dibilas, saring daging ayam di atas mangkuk kosong untuk menyingkirkan sisa air cucian daging ayam.
Sekarang, daging ayam yang dicuci dengan cuka dan garam sudah bersih sepenuhnya dari darah yang bau amis. Dapat dilihat perbandingan daging ayam yang dicuci dengan garam dan cuka di sebelah kanan, dengan yang dicuci hanya dengan air bersih di sebelah kiri.
Darah di Daging Ayam Apakah Najis?
Daging ayam serta jenis daging halal lainnya dapat memiliki sisa darah, kemungkinan karena kurang bersih saat mencuci daging. Menurut hukum agama, darah dianggap najis dan mengonsumsinya diharamkan.
Kenapa Ayam Dimasak Masih Ada Darahnya?
Setelah dimasak, salah satu alasan utama daging ayam mengeluarkan darah adalah penggunaan peralatan yang kurang tepat. Ternyata, tindakan mencuci daging ayam mentah adalah kesalahan. Hal ini tidak sepenuhnya menghilangkan kuman, malah berpotensi menyebar bakteri ke berbagai permukaan seperti perabot dapur, pakaian, dan alat makan.
